Bib or Boston lettuce (tear your lettuce don't cut)
Red onions, thinly sliced
Gorgonzola or bleu cheese crumbles
Pears, cut into chunks
Croutons
Dressing:
1 cup of balsamic vinegar
3/4 cup of virgin olive oil
1/2 cup of sugar
dash of salt, pepper, & garlic powder
Wisk the vinegar and the sugar first, then add the oil and your spices
You can make a larger batch and refrigerate. The longer it sets the better it gets.
Toss dressing with salad and top with croutons.
