Crock Pot Italian Sausage

6 Italian Sausages

2 Tbls. Tomato paste

½ tsp. dried sweet basil

½ tsp. dried oregano leaves

4-6 medium tomatoes, diced (can substitute a large can of chopped tomatoes)

2 onions, halved and sliced

1 small green bell pepper, cut into strips

½ tsp. salt

½ tsp. pepper

Dash cayenne pepper

 

In a medium saucepan, brown sausages on all sides.  Poke holes to drain.  Transfer to slow-cooker and add remaining ingredients.  Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.


Serve over spaghetti or on French bread.
