1 white or yellow cake mix
1 can crushed, drained pineapple
1 large box instant vanilla pudding
2 jars, drained and cut in half maraschino cherries
1 large cool whip
1 - 8 oz. package cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar

Bake cake and let cool. Make pudding and let set up. Cut cake into chunks and put several layers in bottom of large glass bowl or trifle dish. Layer pudding, cool whip, cherries. pineapple and cake until all ingredients are used. Refrigerate over night.
