1 can (15 oz.) pumpkin
1 can (12 oz.) evaporated milk
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
1 package white cake mix
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans or walnuts
3/4 cup butter, melted
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bottom and sides of rectangular pan, 9 X 13
inches.
Stir pumpkin, milk, eggs, sugar, and pumpkin pie spice until smooth. Pour into
pan. Sprinkle cake mix (dry) over pumpkin mixture. Sprinkle with nuts. Pour
melted butter evenly over top.
Bake uncovered 50 to 60 minutes or until knife inserted in center of dessert
comes out clean. Cool completely, about 1 hour 30 minutes.
Makes 12 servings.
