1/2 cup butter
1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/3 cups flour, un-sifted
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 - 6 oz. package semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 13-inch round pizza style pan. In large bowl, measure butter and sugars. With mixer at
high speed, cream butter mixture until light and fluffy. Next beat in egg until well blended. Beat in vanilla. Reduce speed
to low and gradually beat in flour, baking soda, and salt until well mixed, with wooden spoon, fold in chocolate morsels and
nuts. With rubber spatula spread dough to edge of pan. Bake 17 to 20 min. or until golden brown. The cookie is done when it
feels dry to touch. After it is completed cooled, cut into wedges.
