Ginger Snaps

3/4 cup shortening, use all Crisco
1 cup sugar
1 egg
4 tablespoons Grandma's Molasses
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/4 cup chopped walnuts

Roll in a ball, then roll in sugar. Put on cookie sheet and bake. 375 degrees for 10 min. Let cool on rack a while.
