1 cup butter
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
2 cups flour
Cream butter with almond extract, add sugar gradually, creaming well. Add egg and beat thoroughly. Add flour gradually, mixing
until blended. Chill dough until easy to handle. Chill cookie press. Following manufacturer's directions, fill cookie press
with dough and form cookies of varied shapes directly onto cool
un-greased cookie sheets. Decorate with sugar. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 8 to 10 min. Remove to wire racks to cool.
