Alene Schuette's Fudge

2 cups sugar
10 marshmallows
5 ounces evaporated milk
1/2 cup margarine, (1 stick)
6 ounces Nestle semi sweet morsels
1 teaspoon vanilla
walnuts, optional

With margarine, butter your fudge dish. Have margarine, chips, vanilla, and nuts set aside Ready to go. Use LONG HANDLE SPOON.  In 2 QT. heavy pot, add sugar, marshmallows and milk on medium
heat. Add chips margarine and vanilla immediately. Stir until dissolved. Add nuts. Pour into dish.
