Low Fat Pumpkin Bread

1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 cup pumpkin, mashed
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 egg
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 

Sift all dry ingredients together. Stir in the pumpkin, brown sugar, buttermilk, egg and butter. Mix well. 

Pour dough into greased loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour or until done.
